I had been volunteering and coordinating events with my neighborhood association for about a year, so they decided to let me join! I’ve accepted the role as Chairperson for the Greenspace Committee, but this package deal means I also have to become the organization’s webmaster. Score! (it’s like telling me I can only have ice cream if I pour chocolate syrup on top)

The website is hosted on Squarespace, which I have only researched before and never worked with. I always think of them as a higher-end content management system and I don’t think they offer any free versions. I especially love their built-in parallax scroll.

I made some minor updates to reflect the new board members, integrated Instagram, and updated the Events page. The Events page only had copy and photos on the front, so I dove into the meta, SEO and featured images to bring this up to speed.
